In a military hangar application, ProShieldESD was applied to the floor surface used for routine vehicle access and unloading of heavy materials. Trucks regularly entered the hangar and placed substantial loads directly onto the ESD-coated floor.

Despite continuous mechanical stress, the coating has remained intact and functional. The surface continues to provide controlled ESD behaviour without cracking, peeling, or loss of performance.

Unlike thick epoxy-based ESD floors that tend to crack under load or require complete replacement when damaged, the thin-film, two-part ProShieldESD coating adheres strongly to the substrate and moves with the surface. This allows the floor to retain both mechanical integrity and stable ESD performance over time.
